法國名導盧貝松去年來台北拍攝的新片《露西》，未演先轟動，其實不僅盧貝松，英國名導摩根馬修(Morgan Matthews)，也在去年抵台勘景，並拍攝BBC新片《X+Y》。

摩根馬修曾多次獲得英國電影金像獎肯定，他的新片《X+Y》原設定在北京拍攝，去年五月來台勘景後相當滿意，立馬在八月將大隊從北京改到台北拍攝，最後正式取景的場景，包括捷運西門站、兩廳院廣場、西門紅樓及大同高中等。

《X+Y》是一部溫馨喜劇，男主角由《雨果的冒險》童星阿薩巴特菲德（Asa Butterfield）擔任，他飾演一位罹患亞斯柏格症的青少年，來台接受國際數學奧林匹亞競賽的選手集訓，繼而逐步解開人生方程式。

其他卡司還包括《真愛挑日子》瑞夫史波（Rafe Spall）、柏林影后莎莉霍金斯（Sally Hawkins）等，該片目前在台上映時間未定，英國則預計於年底上映。

這一、兩年有愈來愈多國際級劇組情鍾台北，除了《露西》、《X+Y》，國際名導吳宇森的《太平輪》、泰國電視劇《CUBIC》，以及台北市影委會與義大利合作的《台北工廠I》、《台北工廠II》，也都到台北取景拍攝。
