在日前好萊塢重要人氣指標的美國青少年民選獎中，打敗凱蒂佩芮與泰勒絲等天后奪下最受歡迎女歌手獎的，是位叫亞莉安娜的新人。

亞莉安娜（Ariana Grande）是誰？21歲的她因在YouTube詮釋瑪麗亞凱莉的「情感」（Emotions）而崛起，神似潔西卡艾芭的外型、媲美「花蝴蝶」的高亢嗓音，迅速成為甜心偶像，新歌「愛情煩惱」（Problem）在全球65國iTunes奪冠，更以首周43萬5千張的銷售成為今年全美最佳首周銷售單曲、並寫下首周銷售超過40萬張的最年輕女歌手紀錄。

亞莉安娜8歲在郵輪卡拉OK，大唱「鐵達尼號」主題曲，高亢嗓音吸引拉丁歌手葛洛麗亞伊斯特芬注意，天后掛保證：「妳比我更有天分走向歌唱這條路。」她首張專輯「真情歌Yours Truly」首周就空降告示牌冠軍，並獲頒2013年全美音樂獎「最佳新人」肯定，第2張專輯「My Everything我的全部」22日發行。
