盧安達排除首起伊波拉病例

盧安達衛生部12日發表聲明說，日前發現的盧安達首例伊波拉疑似病例已被排除。盧安達衛生部長比納瓜霍在記者會上表示，這名患者的伊波拉病毒感染檢測結果為陰性，而瘧疾檢測結果為陽性。患者目前已經在接受相應治療，恢復良好，很快會痊癒。 　　

這名患者是一名醫學院學生，此前出現了發燒、腹瀉、全身無力等症狀。由於患者不久前曾到過伊波拉疫情嚴重的賴比瑞亞，盧安達衛生部10日宣佈對其採取隔離治療措施，並將樣本送往一個國際認可的實驗室進行檢測。盧安達政府表示，為了防範伊波拉疫情，所有符合標準的預防措施都已到位，衛生部門將密切監控。（國際中心╱綜合報導）
