8日凌晨0時30分左右，新北市土城區傳出槍擊案。疑似一起毒品交易案產生糾紛，引發雙方人馬在摩鐵發生火拚，彼此互砍開槍，現場一片混亂，導致2死3傷的慘劇。警方獲報後除了通報消防隊將傷者送醫急救，並帶回相關人員釐清，另全力追緝主嫌下落。

有目擊者表示，在事發現場聽到疑似鞭炮聲，之後又聽到疑似擦撞的聲響，出外一看就發現摩鐵外有1輛機車起火燃燒。事發地點在新北市土城永寧捷運站附近的汽車旅館，疑似是2派人馬交易毒品過程中發生糾紛，雙方發生火拚衝突。

警方調查發現，有一對兄弟檔喉部和胸部均遭到槍擊，送醫後宣告不治；另外有2人則是中槍傷和刀傷、還有1人則是騎車逃逸遭對方開車衝撞，導致機車撞牆起火燃燒，腿部遭燒燙傷。根據《蘋果日報》報導，疑似有一方先是在現場埋伏，才會導致這起火拚意外，警方除了已帶回2名關係人訊問釐清，並全力鎖定一名在逃主嫌追緝當中。
