深陷十二年國教風暴的教育部長蔣偉寧，捲入國際學術期刊造假醜聞，今（14）日上午請辭獲准，總統馬英九總統表示，尊重蔣偉寧的決定。

總統府發言人馬瑋國轉述，蔣偉寧向行政院長江宜樺報告後，也親自向馬總統說明此次論文風波的實際情況，以及所做辭職的決定。

馬瑋國說，總統充分了解蔣偉寧的想法，也尊重蔣的決定。總統並肯定蔣在2年5個月任期內，對於推動技職再造、幼托整合和十二年國教等政策上的用心。

教育部長人事屬行政院長職權，江宜樺會在和馬總統討論後，決定新任教育部長人選。行政院表示，教育部部長乙職目前由政務次長陳德華暫代。
