引擎遭「鳥襲」起火　班機被迫折返降落

一架飛往印度的班機周日從美國紐澤西起飛後，由於引擎遭飛鳥「襲擊」而起火，被迫折返機場，安然降落，機上乘客無人受傷。
 
美聯社報導，載有313名乘客的印度航空（Air India）班機，周日下午4時35分起飛前往印度孟買，不久後，駕駛員通報機身左半部的一具引擎起火，引擎隨後更停止運轉。班機因此緊急折返，在5時5分順利降落機場，乘客下機，結束一場空中驚魂。（林奐成╱綜合外電報導）
