第18分鐘，涅馬爾（Neymar）從左側開角球，後衛席瓦（Thiago Silva）將球頂到遠邊門柱後，另一名後衛路易茲（David Luiz）在門前將球踢進，先以1比0取得頂先。

第32分鐘，巴西門前一陣混亂後，「智利C羅」桑傑士（Alexis Sanchez）在禁區以右腳推射入網，1比1追平巴西。
