菲律賓擬向美軍開放所有空軍基地

【大紀元2014年06月20日訊】（大紀元記者陳雨綜合報導）據《菲律賓商報》報導，菲律賓空軍18日證實，一旦加強防務合作協議的法律障礙清除，菲律賓所有現有的8個空軍基地都將開放給美軍使用。

報導表示，菲律賓空軍司令黎牙多在維惹莫空軍基地說：「我們正在提供我們現有的基地。這件事仍必須經過談判，我們將同美方討論。」 他說：「所有空軍基地都列入考慮。」

今年4月28日，美國和菲律賓簽署為期10年的新的「增強防務合作協議（ Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement, EDCA）」。這一重要協議將允許美國使用菲律賓的軍事基地，允許美軍增加在菲律賓的輪換部署。白宮表示，這是美國和菲律賓在幾十年來簽署的最為顯著的防務協議。

菲律賓激進派領袖在5月26日向最高法院提出訴求，要求最高法院宣佈加強防務合作協議違憲，以阻止美菲雙邊協議。

5月29日，加強防務合作協議的小組說，他們相信該協議將獲得通過。
