義大利海軍救起約千名非法移民

義大利海岸巡邏隊表示，巡邏隊員今天(7日)在3艘不同的走私漁船上，救起1,000多名非法移民，同時這也是海岸巡邏隊在過去2天內，第二次的救援行動。
海岸巡邏隊表示，他們是在義國南部拉姆培杜薩島(Lampedusa Island)外海，約74公里處的海上，救起3艘移民船上，約千名的非法移民及尋求庇護者。
另外，義國海岸巡邏隊6日也從17艘非法移民船隻上，救起約2,500名尋求庇護者。
近來地中海的天氣良好，導致有更多移民者不顧一切，拚命地想非法進入義國。
根據報導，大部份非法移民及尋求庇護者是來自非洲的厄利垂亞(Eritrea)、敘利亞(Syria)、利比亞(Libya)或是來自非洲撒哈拉以南地區。
至今已有約千名非法移民因為海難而喪命，他們往往搭乘漁船，但是因為搭船人數過多相當擁擠，險象環生。
