現年35歲的林小姐，9年前因常有眼球跳動、視力模糊，本不以為意，直到就醫才確診為多發性硬化症，北投健康醫院院長暨北榮神經內科兼任主任蔡清標表示，該症患者以25～29歲輕熟齡女性族群居多，建議若持續24小時以上出現視力模糊、肢體無力、疲勞暈眩症狀，速至神經內科檢查。528正值世界多發性硬化症日，蔡清標院長提到，多發性硬化症因自體免疫系統功能異常，抗體攻擊神經系統，造成神經發炎受損，發生率約10萬分之2～3，但據衛福部統計，2004年全台僅485位患者，到2014年已提高到1166位，增加1.4倍。多發性硬化症患者剛發病時，多有視力模糊、肢體無力、暈眩等症狀，常被誤認為工作疲勞引起，導致延遲就診，嚴重更恐造成癱瘓。建議若症狀持續24小時以上，應及早至神經內科就醫，透過核磁共振檢查確診，健保有給付，目前臨床治療多發性硬化症，以第一線用藥以干擾素為主，但有35%左右的患者會出現抗藥性，建議可與醫師溝通，考慮第二線口服用藥，有助調節免疫系統，抑制免疫過度反應，研究顯示可降低5成復發率。（黃子倫／台北報導）
