奇型怪狀的膠囊單車 時速可達145公里

英國利物浦大學發明的一款名為Arion1 Velocipede的極速單車，外形像膠囊，預料時速最高可達145公里，成為史上最快的人力車。它還可產生供一般家庭使用的電力。

英國《每日郵報》報導，這款極速單車，車身重量不到55磅（約25公斤），膠囊狀外殼以碳纖維質製成，相當輕巧。流線型外殼，可大大減少空氣阻力，加快車速，而且沒有碳排放問題，相當環保。至於騎車者的座位幾乎接近水平，離地只有13公分，必須躺著騎。

極速單車將於明年量產，並進行測試，希望可以打破荷蘭兩所大學，在2013年所創、時速133.7公里的人力車紀錄。
