為推動各級學校「全民國防教育」，國防部自95年起舉辦暑期戰鬥營，迄今獲得青年學子熱列歡迎。103年暑期戰鬥營　將於3月31日至4月11日期間開放報名。

國防部政治作戰局文宣心戰處處長余宗基少將表示，今年依據既有辦理經驗，規劃辦理17個營隊戰鬥營，今年新增「海上生活體驗營」與「航空科技體驗營」，預定招訓3056員。只要具備中華民國國籍之高中職以上、身心狀況良好之在學學生參加，其中科學體驗營的招收對象為國中學生。

往年暑期戰鬥營錄取作業均於5月辦理公開抽籤，余宗基表示，為便利學生暑期課輔等活動安排，今年將提前於4月中旬辦理公開抽籤，屆時將於國防部記者會辦理公開抽籤。此外，今年規劃「先報名抽籤後書面資格審查」方式，並於報名系統建置「手機驗證碼功能」，運用手機簡訊通知學生活動訊息。

詳細簡章可至國軍人才招募中心、高中職學校以上軍訓室、高鐵站憲兵聯絡組索取，或至「全民國防教育暑期戰鬥營報名網站」下載。
