巨無霸高麗菜重15公斤　比一般大6倍

雲林縣莿桐鄉林姓農民引進澎湖品種的高麗菜，並與台灣高冷高麗菜進行育種改良後試種，種出巨無霸高麗菜，每顆達15公斤以上，換算台斤約25台斤左右，一般的高麗菜一顆重4至5台斤，巨無霸高麗菜比一般大上6倍。
 
蔡小姐說，「好漂亮、像花朵，好重我都沒辦法抱起來。」莿桐鄉農會總幹事張鈺萱表示，新品種的高麗菜像顆牡丹花，具有觀賞價值，未來將推廣種植，由於纖維較粗，不建議用來鮮炒，可曬成菜乾或製作水餃內餡食用較合適。 (李政遠／雲林報導)
