102年學大專棒球聯賽八強複賽24日下午兩場均無關晉級，無緣四強的文化大學6比3硬是打敗分組第一的國立體大；台灣體院和開南大學二連勝晉級後碰頭，台體七局下強攻6分而以9比0大勝開南。

文化前兩戰連續小敗於高苑及輔大，注定在分組墊底，但碰上提前贏得分組第一之國體可不示弱，一下蘇育彬三壘打、吳柏毅高飛犧牲打就先搶1分，先發投手楊志龍投5局失2分被追平退場，但文化五局下再超前1分，六下吳明鴻二壘打、張浩瑋三壘打，吳柏毅又安打成為國體難追的5比2優勢。

文化全場10支安打為複賽最多，且配合3次盜壘的快速推進，才打出本身實力，可惜為時已晚，只能和嘉大爭第七名。

榮升校長的林華韋仍為台體棒球隊總教練，但因校務繁忙無法親臨現場，台體仍照表操課，前5局僅得1分，七局下面對開南第三任投手林皋立，先由詹竣翔二壘打，接著保送安打占滿壘，雖遭2K出局，但三棒楊家祥、四棒許基宏連續安打連下4分，再保送後罕見的1次暴投連丟2分，單局就擊沈了對手。
