「甜瓜人生」第二季即將開演，這回跟Carmelo Anthony一起主演的，是快艇隊「灌籃王」Blake Griffin。

消息人士透露，尼克高層正在討論，要不要拿甜瓜去換灌籃王。快艇管理階層也在商量這件事，但傾向留住Griffin，因為這位頂級前鋒成績實在太漂亮，最近10戰平均26分11籃板。

其實，尼克的第一志願並不是交易甜瓜，而是跟他再簽一張長約，但由於本季尼克戰績不佳，Melo又不確定會不會留下來，尼克只好先規劃「雨天備案」。

尼克會找上快艇，跟Chris Paul有關。CP3跟甜瓜交情不錯，自2010年起，兩人就有意當隊友，而且3年多來，這個願望一直都在。

然而，跟「甜瓜人生」第一季一樣，要是沒有獲得Melo續留的保證，其他球隊恐怕不會想做交易，尼克的選擇並不多。
