沈玉琳皆榮獲「觀眾最不想轉台的藝人」第一名，自封為「鎖台精」，笑稱比「王」還要高一等；他先前上中天《康熙來了》十週年特別企劃，稱節目如他再造父母，小S聽聞向他說：「來！叫我一聲媽。」他聞言極為配合，立刻鞠躬表態，還看著她直喊「媽」，現場笑聲不斷。

他出場時觀眾情緒沸騰，小S見狀虧：「是花多少錢請這些臨演！」他自豪回說：「你們可能不太習慣我受歡迎的程度，但我是非常習慣。」節目中表演locking，介紹舞蹈時小S嗤之以鼻，他給以回馬槍酸說：「妳聽不懂，所以沒有參與感，因為妳不是舞蹈界。」她被激到當場大秀舞技，直吼：「我怎麼不是舞蹈界！」

當他用盡力氣跳完舞，蔡康永笑稱是用生命演出，小S直言：「雖是燃燒生命，但我看不到locking。」他和張克帆、黃鐙輝及NONO組成諧星男團「七月半樂團」，NONO笑說：「已有亞洲天團『五月天』，取名七月半應該可以接收他們一半歌迷。」沈玉琳則說：「活動也好接，中元普渡歡迎大家邀我們參加法會。」
