倫敦戲院屋頂坍塌 逾88傷

倫敦著名的阿波羅劇院(Apollo Theatre)19日在演出時天花板突然崩塌，根據救難人員和目擊者表示，有包括孩童在內的超過88人受傷。

意外發生時，阿波羅劇院正在上演暢銷小說改編的話劇「深夜小狗神秘事件」(The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time)。

有目擊者說，在天花板崩塌前，曾聽到這座擁有112年歷史的戲院，發出吱吱作響的聲音；也有目擊者表示，看到離開劇院的人們身上滿是灰塵碎屑，臉上還有血。

緊急部門指出，他們並不認為這起事故造成任何人死亡，而且受困者也都已經獲救。

倫敦救護車服務(London Ambulance Service)發表聲明說，他們治療了81位還能行走的傷患、以及7名傷勢較嚴重者。

據倫敦消防隊(London Fire Brigade)表示，事發時戲院約有720人。資深消防隊員哈丁(Nick Harding)說，戲院的部份天花板掉到看戲的觀眾身上，連帶的有些包廂也掉了下來，他從未看過像這樣的意外。

位於沙福茲貝里大道(Shaftesbury Avenue)的阿波羅劇院，建於1901年，是倫敦著名的百年戲院，觀眾席分為4層。
