死後可存活4小時　醫界鼓勵肺臟器捐

【吳貞儀／綜合外電報導】美國新研究發現人死後，肺臟因殘存了空氣，存活得比其他器官久。醫界希望此項研究能促成在家猝死者成功捐贈肺臟，增加肺臟移植手術成功率，也可縮短病患等候肺臟移植的時間。

北卡羅萊納大學艾根（Thomas Egan）博士領導的團隊，進行一系列動物實驗，艾根發現人死後肺臟能「多活」1小時，若接上呼吸器能存活4小時。研究人員將取出的肺臟放在透明有蓋的箱子中，以呼吸器輕緩地充氣，再將一種特殊液體注入肺臟，它能仿效血液運作，此舉能讓肺臟保存地更久。接著以支氣管鏡檢視肺臟內部是否有異常。

器官移植專家正密切觀察此新研究，倘若成功，包括肺臟和其他器官的捐贈案例將能大幅增加。
