求意见- 处理器抉择

小弟电脑挂了，想组台电脑用用，但对处理器举棋不定。

小弟之前使用Q6600->i5-750,都没超频。
只玩游戏(DOTA2居多，偶尔单机和网游），基本上电脑都是24x7没关机偶尔下点戏看看。

就使用经验来说Q6600很够用了还觉得效能有剩(用了六年）。
775主板挂了就换上亲戚退下来的i5，用了几个月开不了机。
手头上没有备用零件可以交叉测试所以也不懂是处理器还是主板挂了。

所以希望大家能帮忙推荐cp较高，希望可以再战个三五年的处理器。

买新的1150还是1155+主板（花费较高）?
还是买个775板继续使用q6600（相对比较便宜）??

看了处理器天梯图，发现4th i3效能还在i5-750之上。
如果现在买4th i3+z87主板暂时顶着，过个三五年后再入个二手的e3-1230v2比较好？
退下来的i3也可以组htpc放客厅
