楊柳颱風生成　創16年來最多颱風紀錄

【張勵德／台北報導】原位於南海上的熱帶性低氣壓，昨晚發展成為今年第31號颱風「楊柳」(Podul，北韓命名)。目前楊柳颱風中心位置在鵝鑾鼻西南方1580公里海面上，以時速26公里速度向西南西移動，預估未來將進入中南半島，對台灣陸地天氣並不會有影響。
 
楊柳颱風生成後，今年西北太平洋共生成31個颱風，追平1997年的紀錄，也是近16年來最多颱風的一年。中央氣象局預報中心主任鄭明典曾表示，從2007年之後太平洋年代際變化導致太平洋海溫偏高，有利於颱風生成，也使得西北太平洋的颱風生成數量有偏多的趨勢，後續是否會持續還要再進一步觀察。
