《MarketWatch》周二 (12日) 報導，日本核心機械訂單 9 月意外下降 2.1％，相對比較下前個月成長甚於蓬勃，然 9 月數據跌幅超越市場分析師們預期。

《日經新聞》和《華爾街日報》經濟學家們先前預估，當月核心機械訂單數據應月減 1.4％，先前 8 月期間月增幅度高達 5.4％。

日本內閣府表示，普遍作為企業資本投資領先指標的機械訂單數據，走勢向上揚升，企業獲利成績改善，且估計出口表現將提升，未來偏向繼續提高訂單量。

本次核心機械訂單總額連續第二個月超過 8000 億日元，係 2008 年迄今的頭一遭。第 3 季核心訂單季增 4.3％，或許代表第三季國民生產毛額 (GDP) 數據將表現亮眼。

未經調整的核心機械訂單數據，年升幅度為 11.4％。

核心訂單數據不包括船舶和電力等設備投資，因其波動甚大恐影響整體數據。
