美百視達直營門市　擬明年1月前全關閉

【周佩萱／綜合報導】美國知名連鎖影片出租店百視達 (Blockbuster) 母公司 Dish Network (DISH-US) 6日宣布，2014年1月前將關閉美國現存約300間直營門市，郵寄影碟服務則將在今年12月中旬結束，經銷店和加盟店則不受影響。

母公司表示由於消費者顯然投向數位影音的懷抱，直營門市經營不善不得不做出關閉的決定，不過儘管關閉實體門市，但百視達這個品牌不會消失，將轉向擴展數位服務。
