2800萬美元絲路比特幣 遭美警查扣

美國紐約聯邦檢察官25日表示，已經查扣線上黑市「絲路(Silk Road)」所用的數位貨幣「比特幣(Bitcoin)」，價值約2,800萬美元。

「絲路」在網路上從事毒品、殺手以及駭客工具等商品的交易。主嫌伍布瑞希特(Ross William Ulbricht)已經在10月1日落網，該網站也已經遭關閉。

根據美國國務院表示，伍布瑞希特在2011年成立「絲路」網路，經營販售海洛因、古柯鹼、迷幻藥LSD、甲基安非他命，以及竊取密碼或登入帳密的駭客軟體，甚至還提供殺手交易服務。

「絲路」網站使用保護隱私的網路匿名工具Tor及數位貨幣比特幣，來隱藏世界各地買家及賣家的身分。成立至今，已有超過90萬人註冊。交易金額估計超過12億美元。

不過，現年29歲的伍布瑞希特在落網時否認一切犯行。
