美債14日因哥倫布日(每年10月第二個星期一)休市一天。美國短天期國庫券殖利率上週五(11日)因潛在債務違約最後期限恐將推遲6週而顯著走高。彭博社報導，11月29日到期美國國庫券殖利率一週來飆漲0.12個百分點至0.16%(註：9月30日這項債券殖利率為負值)。央行數據顯示，截至10月2日為止當週21家主要交易商(包括JP摩根、高盛、巴克萊)的國庫券部位較此前一週縮減17%(34億美元)至162億美元、創2012年10月31日以來新低，較9月11日當週的535億美元暴減69.7%。
