預防自殺　社群網站可發警訊

【周佩萱／綜合外電報導】社群網站推動阿拉伯之春，現在更有研究發現，社群網站可以及早預防自殺。

美國猶他州楊百翰大學(Brigham Young University)的研究人員，費時3個月，檢閱從美國發出的數百萬條推文，發現各州出現帶有自殺或相關訊息推文的比例，正好反映出當地的自殺比例。研究人員表示結果顯示，在推文中提到自殺或霸凌等危險訊息的使用者，可能就是自殺的高危險群，一旦發現可能自殺的發文者，透過大眾正面鼓舞，發送聲援或安慰訊息給他，將有助於預防自殺，加拿大8月就有一名在推特上發文計畫自殺的少女，因其他來自全球陌生網友在推特上關心並幫她打氣，因而打消了她自殺的念頭。

研究團隊接下來擬研發app，能搜索出危險推文，進而鎖定目標，避免悲劇發生。
