躲過洪災 印度小鎮30萬美元重見天日

印度警方今天(16日)表示，位在喜馬拉雅山下的凱達爾納特(Kedarnath)鎮，因為6月15至17日連續下了60小時暴雨，創歷史紀錄的雨量帶來山崩，道路毀壞。災難至今已過了約3個月，工作人員在災難現場的一個保險箱裡，尋獲約1,900萬盧比(約30萬3千美元)現金。

警方說，凱達爾納特鎮幾乎被3個月前的暴雨毀滅，死者據信有5,500人，然而這個保險箱是在14日，於凱達爾納特鎮附近的一處河床尋獲。

凱達爾納特鎮位於北阿坎德(Uttarakhand)省內，當地的警察督查長米納(Ram Singh Meena)說：「這個保險箱雖然被洪水沖走，但是保險箱內的現金卻毫無受損。」
