第26屆IBAF世界青棒錦標賽5日進入複賽，日本隊遇上死敵韓國隊，結果日本隊火力全開，以10:0大勝韓國隊，提前7局扣倒。

總教練西谷浩一說：「這是重要的一戰，球員也很享受這場比賽。」

日本隊提前擊倒韓國隊，之所以也料想到對方會派出身高超過190公分，對古巴隊先發的左投林知燮，主要就是透過情蒐。

林知燮主投1.2局就被日本隊打出6支安打，加上2次嚴重的暴投，總共失5分退場。

林知燮擁有速球與變化程度大的指叉球，滑球部份慢慢被日本抓到，也讓比賽提前結束。

其實西谷在比賽前一晚就在房間告訴松井裕樹要先發的消息，本來預定對方都會是左打部隊，韓國隊也有備而來，派出右打者為主來面對松井。 (接下一頁)
