三星電子推出了2014版GALAXY Note 10.1，搭載 10吋WQXGA Super clear LCD(2560x1600)顯示螢幕，採用 1.9 GHZ 八核心處理器(3G/WiFi專用版)及3GB RAM。三星電子行動與資訊事業部總裁申宗均(JK Shin)表示，Note 10.1 是業界最先進的10吋平板，提供最佳的視覺效果與多工處理能力。

申宗均表示，該款裝置是三星行動通訊部門根據消費者多變的喜好所開發的創新產品。GALAXY Note 10.1 2014版整合一系列功能，將持續帶給消費者驚喜。

Note 10.1將推出三種版本：WiFi、WiFi與3G、以及WiFi與LTE，容量可選擇16/32/64GB並可擴充Micro SD卡。產品預計推出黑、白兩款顏色。將於2013年第三季陸續於全球市場推出。

GALAXY Note 10.1配備強化後的進階S Pen，提升反應能力讓工作效率加倍，也搭載如智慧型手機Note 3的S Pen全新功能，如「Action Memo 快捷Memo 」、「Scrapbook全能貼」、「Screen Write 快速截圖」以及「S Finder 全能搜」。強化的S Pen功能與產品大螢幕相輔相成。

全新 GALAXY Note 10.1搭載Samsung KNOX 服務，帶來更強化的隱私性與安全防護。使用者啟用三星KNOX後，將可在一個「封隔櫃」(container)的受保護執行環境中，執行並儲存具有安全性敏感問題的應用程式與資料。並且能夠讓並讓IT部門透過EAS (Exchange ActiveSync Server自動同步服務) 來管理安全處理檔案櫃。
