Markit公布，美國8月採購經理指數終值下降至53.1，8月初值為53.9。

7月採購經理指數為53.7。
 
Markit說：「這與整體製造業情況溫和改善相符合，」

台北時間22:00 供應管理協會(ISM)將公布8月製造業指數，為投資人所重視。

預估8月ISM製造業指數下降至54.1%，7月為55.4%。
