秦日新遭彈劾案 外交部配合公懲會辦理

監察院今天上午通過對我駐斐濟前代表秦日新疑涉貪瀆違紀的彈劾案，外交部晚間發布新聞稿表示尊重，並將配合公懲會審議結果，處理後續相關作業。

外交部表示，2011年7月27日已將全案主動移送法務部廉政署調查及監察院審查，並依公務員懲戒法規定對秦日新予以停職。刑事部分，台北地方法院檢察署已於2012年9月14日以不起訴處分偵結在案。行政責任部分，外交部會配合公懲會審議結果做後續處理。 至於駐斐濟代表處前秘書劉壽軒行為不當的部分，已由外交部考績委員會審議，核定劉壽軒「在工作場合行為欠妥，影響外交部及駐外人員形象」，給予申誡2次處分。

對駐外人員發生風紀案件遭監察院彈劾，外交部深表遺憾，也再次要求外交部所有同仁，身為公務員務必奉公守法廉潔自持，維護外交人員形象。
