美鑄印局出包　印出30億美元廢鈔

【綜合報導】2010年美國百元鈔改版，以防範偽鈔，不過當時因印鈔過程發生錯誤，延到2011年才正式發行，現在又傳出美國財政部鑄印局(Bureau of Engraving and Printing）出包，錯印3千萬張百元鈔，總計30億美元的廢鈔。
 
由於印刷過程中，使用過多油墨，導致紙鈔不符合標準參數，聯準會認為這批百元鈔無法發行，退還這批鈔票重新審驗，最後很可能是全數銷毀，根據《大西洋月刊》(The Atlantic Wire)估算，處理這批廢鈔加上重新印製新鈔的費用，將高達379萬美元。
