水手、金鶯共敲7發紅不讓，包括Chris Davis領先群雄的第40轟，進場的球迷看到賺到，更爽的是，金鶯隊以11比8贏球，打垮安打多1支的水手隊。
Davis的紅不讓是陽春彈，真正一棒擊沉水手隊的，是Nate McLouth第6局的滿貫砲。原本水手隊追到6比7，McLouth開砲後，金鶯隊取得11比6領先，擴大優勢。金鶯隊另一位開砲的，是Ryan Flaherty第4局的陽春全壘打。
水手隊4轟裡面，也有3發陽春彈，分別是Kendrys Morales、Michael Morse、以及Humberto Quintero。唯一帶有滷蛋的紅不讓，是Michael Saunders第3局的2分砲。
「其實今晚我們打擊發揮得不錯，打了一堆分數，」水手隊代理總教練Robby Thompson說，「不幸的是，整個晚上，我們只能一路在後面苦苦追趕。」
每當金鶯隊擴大領先，水手隊就會追上，「像這樣的打擊戰，我們覺得，好像打再多分數都不夠，」Davis說，「無論我們拿了幾分，他們好像都會追上來。」
McLouth的決心很強烈：「長打滿天飛，他們的打擊很棒，像這種比賽，我們就是要贏。」 (接下一頁)
