【陳郁仁／台北報導】外交部今表示，我海巡署「偉星艦」昨在我國南方海域執行巡護任務時，發現一艘載浮載沈且已破損的菲律賓籍舢舨，上有3名菲國漁民，於是將他們救起，目前安置在高雄港，安排返菲事宜。獲救的菲籍船員表示，他們是遭「西馬隆」颱風外圍環流影響漂流至外海，還有另一艘舢舨也有3名菲國漁民，目前下落不明。我海巡和內政部空勤總隊仍持續協尋中。

外交部發佈新聞稿表示，我國已告知馬尼拉經濟文化辦事處（MECO）我方救起菲國漁民及持續搜救相關情形，菲國對我幫忙表示感謝。然而，儘管如此，菲律賓冷血槍殺我漁民洪石城的報告至今仍沒下文，洪家至今沒拿到賠償，外交官員表示菲國總統艾奎諾三世一天不公布，我國也無計可施。
