專家看衰西馬隆強度

【王玉樹／台北報導】輕颱西馬隆今晚影響台灣，但「強度」被專家看扁。天氣風險管理公司總經理彭啟明指出，這個颱風特性就是「很快」，但強度並不是很強，主要是因為移動速度快來不及在海上發展壯大，再來就要進入巴士海峽，因此估計不太會升級到中颱。雖然強度不強，彭仍提醒這個颱風會對南部地區、花東地區帶來大雨或豪雨，還是要提防。

彭啟明預估，依速度明天上午西馬隆就會移動到高雄西南邊，國內發布陸上颱風警報機率低，但也不排除颱風進入台灣海峽後會稍微北移，掃到金門、澎湖。
