台中市議會淹大水 26億建設全泡湯

蘇力颱風帶來豪大雨危害，導致外面下大雨、台中市全新的議政大樓內卻下起小雨，正副議長室全部遭殃，連天花板也坍塌；一早忙著搶救資料的市議員紛紛抨擊，這花費二十六億建設全泡湯；市府建設局則解釋，是空中花園積水惹的禍。

蘇力颱風帶來強風豪大雨，除了在中部地區帶來坍方影響道路交通，水淹民宅等災情外，來台中市才剛啟用約半年、耗資二十六億的市議會新議政大樓，卻也發生外面下大雨，議事廳內卻下起小雨、處處漏水的災情，連正、副議長室也遭殃，還有天花板坍塌，一早忙著趕往搶救資料的市議員陳淑華，質疑富麗堂皇的建設不堪一擊，真是鬧了大笑話。

黃國書議員也質疑，台中市議會是透過國際競圖、耗資龐大的新穎建設，為何經不起一次並不算大颱風的考驗，實在是令人匪夷所思，當初如何完成驗收，要求市政府應該調查究責。

一早也前往關切的台中市建設局長沐桂新則表示，是因為頂樓的空中花園排水系統出了狀況，大量雨水溢滿了之後，才會沿著議政大廳與各單位的照明設備宣洩而下，將會找出漏水原因，一一進行檢討改善。
