【李世珍／綜合報導】20歲英國創作才女蓋艾琳（Gabrielle Aplin）以首張個人專輯《英雨》（English Rian）空降英國金榜亞軍，並被英國MTV選為「2013年十大新人」之一，已廣受許樂迷注意，她正在全球巡演，預定下月首度造訪寶島，舉辦3場活動與歌迷近距離接觸。
 
蓋艾琳屬於天才型藝人，14歲開始自學鋼琴與吉他並創作歌曲，她將自創曲上傳到YouTube，在網路上獲得極大迴響，17歲時則自創音樂品牌，展現商業頭腦。她去年翻唱轟動80年代新浪潮樂團「法蘭基到好萊塢」的抒情經典《愛的力量》（The Power of Love），獲得英國老字號連鎖百貨公司「約翰翰路易斯」（John Lweis）的青睞，作為百貨公司代言曲強力播放，使得她的人氣與網路點閱率不斷飆高。
 
她預定下月12日晚間8點在誠品信義店4F舉辦專輯簽名會，13日晚間8點在台北西門町【意舍AMBA聽吧】舉行小型演唱會。新專輯已在台發行。
